Quarterly Wrap-Up // October-December 2018

Happy holidays everyone! These past three months have been rather stressful. I'm in my final year of university and have a dissertation to write alongside other essays and assessments, and I don't feel ready. I know I will get it all done and that I will do well, but the difficult part is always the journey of getting there.

I have been enjoying lots of lovely and slightly dark sci-fi/fantasy novels in these dreary Autumn/Winter months. I find myself missing the brightness of Summer, but genre books always feel warming on cloudy days. Here are three magical and paranormal books I have read recently.

Last year I made the decision to track my own bookish spendings, and discovered I bought far more books than I thought I did. This year I decided to do the same, and have it all wrapped up in a single post. My goal for 2018 was to buy fewer books than in 2017, buuuut it didn't exactly go to plan.
