These three stories are all about women who dare to imagine the world differently. Despite having different backgrounds, the characters in these stories are connected by worlds similar to our own, with twists of science fiction and fantasy that give an entirely new perspective to how we see the world.

Books I Could Re-Read Forever
Whenever life feels to busy for me to absorb new stories, I love going back to a book I've read once before. Re-reading allows you to revisit a story you already know and love to live it all over again, without the fear of what happens next. It's a more relaxed reading experience, and often you can find small gems that you missed before in your first read and make you fall in love with the book even more.

Latest Love // Teen Titans
Latest Love is a series of posts where I talk about a recent obsession. This could be a bookish obsession or otherwise - anything that has been making me happy recently that I feel like sharing. The important thing about this feature is that it isn't a review. This is just a way of me expressing a few reasons why I like something, and maybe find some more people to talk about it with. 😊

Where are the University Aged Books?
Lately I have been considering the relationship between my age and my love of YA. You can see this in a post I wrote a few months ago about the nature of YA and what I think attracts adults to YA, which you can find here. I have been reading more adult fiction for university in this past year and a half, and with this wider range of books I've started to wonder why no one talks about the in-between stage of teenage life and adult life.

Fictional Couples I Ship
A year ago I wrote a post about fictional couples I just don't ship, but I don't think I ever wrote a post on couples that I do ship. I don't normally like romance stories, and when I do like a fictional pairing, their romance is normally a subplot to the book. I also don't get into fandom or shipping as much as I did when I was in my teens, so I'm not sure I can say I 'ship' anything! But there are a lot of fictional romances that I think are super cute and make me smile a lot, so those are the ones I'm going to be listing today (and there's a lot of them!).

Ace of Shades // a rich and complex fantasy world that I am obsessed with
This was PHENOMENAL. It has been a week since I put down Ace of Shades, and I still haven't stopped screaming over it. Never has the first book in a series caused me to experience such a roller coaster of emotions, and you can guarantee that it is my new biggest obsession. It's a book that has it all: a gorgeous and fantastical world, characters that you'll fall head-over-heels for, and a thrilling plot that clings to you from the first page to the last.

6 Reasons A Book on Your TBR Gets Neglected
Somewhere under the never ending pile of books, there comes an end. The books at the bottom of this pile have been neglected for newer, shinier books, forgotten by their owners as the pile stacks higher. There are many reasons certain books are neglected, and I am here to list the crimes and the culprits. (This is an updated version of a post I wrote two years ago.)

January Wrap Up // A Great Start to the Reading Year
January has been a busy reading and blogging month for me! I've finally reached 100 bloglovin followers which makes me super happy, and the average engagement for my posts has been the best it has ever been which is amazing. I also managed to get a lot of required reading done ahead of time for the upcoming semester, which should hopefully make getting through all of the books a little easier. Plus I read a total of 7 books which is awesome! Basically I'm in a good mood this month and I'm hopeful that I will be able to achieve more of my goals this year, both bookish and non-bookish.
