Books I Could Re-Read Forever

Whenever life feels to busy for me to absorb new stories, I love going back to a book I've read once before. Re-reading allows you to revisit a story you already know and love to live it all over again, without the fear of what happens next. It's a more relaxed reading experience, and often you can find small gems that you missed before in your first read and make you fall in love with the book even more.

Today I'm going to list 12 books that I'm always in the mood to be re-reading. I discovered all of these in the last few years, so I've only re-read 4 of them, but these 12 books are ones that I don't think I would get tired of revisiting.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

I found this book so relatable when I first read it, and I suspect I would find it even more so now. Rainbow Rowell's writing is sweet and lovely to read.

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

I have read Carry On twice and I loved it both times. It is a fantasy novel but it is really easy to breeze through, making perfect for a re-read.

They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

I didn't read this too long ago, but every day since I finished it I have wanted to read it again. The messages were beautiful and the story was so moving.

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

I've read Simon vs. twice because it is the perfect light read. The friendships and romance are so heartwarming and I can never put it down.

Because You'll Never Meet Me by Leah Thomas

I adore this duology, and I'm saving re-reading it for a rainy day. The story is heartbreaking at times, but the characters mean a lot to me.

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz

I read this once in 2015 and once in 2016, and it was difficult not to read it again in 2017. These characters and their story is beautiful and I could read it in a day.

Radio Silence by Alice Oseman

I get the feeling this will be a book that I love more the second time around. I could relate to these characters so much and I can't wait to fall in love with this story again.

Release by Patrick Ness

Release was dreamily written yet I felt so awake when reading it. I think it is my favourite Ness book, but if I'm honest, I want to re-read all of them because they're magnificent.

The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

I adore this series more than words can say, so much so that when I re-read it I was scared I wouldn't love it as much. But both times I fell into the magic of Henriette with ease.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

This duology is fantastic, particularly the second book. I want to re-read them back to back so I can live this adventure and obsess over these characters all over again.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

This was the first of the books on this list that I read, and it took my breath away. Every Autumn and Winter I want to re-read it to relive the magic.

Vicious by V.E. Schwab

As my favourite book by my favourite author, it's no surprise Vicious made this list. I don't want to forget any detail about this brilliantly written and structured book.
