My Spring TBR

Top 10 Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
This topic is perfect for me because as I am writing this, I have 10 unread books sitting on my shelf just waiting for me to love them. Let's see why I'm looking forward to them!

1. Uprooted by Naomi Novik
I love a good retelling, and Uprooted sounds like a combination of some of my favourites like Beauty and the Beast with elements of 1,001 Nights.

2. Art in the Blood by Bonnie MacBird
I got this from a school author visit and even got a chance to have a chat with the author. We discussed different Holmes adaptations and she was so friendly.

3. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
My friend Amy got me this georgeous copy of Jane Eyre for my birthday. Seriously, it even smells beautiful.

4. Welcome to Night Vale by Joseph Fink & Jeffrey Craynor
Welcome to Night Vale was my first podcast that started me off in a spiral of listening to ALL THE PODCASTS.

5. The Land of Stories: Beyond the Kingdoms by Chris Colfer
I ordered this book ASAP because I needed to complete my collection of these beautifully covered books.

6-7. Hollow Earth (#1-2) by John & Carole E. Barrowman
I bought the first 2 in the Hollow Earth series for £1.99 each! The Works is a glorious place.

8. The Help by Kathryn Stockett
Got this from a charity shop and it's been on my Goodreads to read list for far too long (2nd longest after Artemis Fowl 8).

9. Artemis Fowl: The Last Guardian by Eoin Colfer
The conclusion to the Artemis Fowl series has been sitting on my book shelf since the week it was published... 4 years ago. It's at the top of my Goodreads TBR because it's been on there for so long, but now I barely rembmer what happened in the previous 7 books and I don't know if I can bring myself to reread them all.

10. Elementary: The Ghost Line by Adam Christopher
I kept putting this off because I had other things I needed to read, but I'm running out of excuses. I love the TV show (even more than BBC's Sherlock - cue 10000 fangirls gasping is shock) so I hope I'll feel similarly about this.

  3. The Help is really good! I actually listened to it on audio, and loved that each character had a different narrator, plus the accents really brought the story to live. Hope that you like it too =)
