What series have you yet to start? Have you read any of the books on my list already? Are any of these on your list?
I am TERRIBLE with series! I have like at least... 5 that I'm in the middle of. Many of them I just have to read the last book to finish it! I guess I have a problem with endings/closure haha... You've actually got 2 of those series on your list!--A Series of Unfortunate Events (up to #6), Daughter of Smoke and Bones (last book)... and The Diviners (up to date). Hope you get around to reading them soon! The Archived is also on my list. I really should finish some series first though... :/

I used to be terrible at keeping up to date with series, but I think currently I'm only behind on 2 so I'm impressed with myself. I definitely get the struggle with ending a series, and I hope you manage to get through those books! Thank you and happy reading <3
DeleteYou really must read Series of Unfortunate Events. So good!

I definitely plan to! I've heard excellent things and I already love the Netflix show. Plus I feel like they're relatively quick reads, so I'm hoping to get through some, if not all of them in the summer.
DeleteSeries of Unfortunate Events is such an amazing series! While the writing style may appeal to a younger audience- I don't think you can ever outgrow it!
ReplyDeleteMy friends have all told me the same! I have already seen the first season of the TV show and I want to get ahead and finish the books so I can make parallels and see how the show makers made changes. Thanks!
DeleteI haven't read any of these, but I've heard good things about The King Killer Chronicle. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard too much about The Kingkiller Chronicles other than the odd thing around the Internet, but I now have a copy that I bought in a charity shop and I must read it. Although for now I have to say that the sheer size is putting me a little off!
DeleteI loved ASOUE when I was a kid, I used to get a new one from the library every week! An Ember In The Ashes and Daughter of Smoke and Bone are both on my TBR. I read The Archived earlier this month, it was pretty good, not my favourite Schwab book though.

I wish I read ASOUE when I was younger because I think I would've loved it! Although based on my love for the new TV series I think I will still be able to love the books now too. I'm going to go into The Archived with low expectations since it was published a while ago - I'm not sure how much I'll like it, but it will be interesting to see how Schwab's writing has grown :D
DeleteI recently finished Ember in the Ashes on audio and loved it! Not Your Sidekick is AMAZING, couldn't recommend it more. Great pick me up.
ReplyDeleteThat's great to hear! I've heard amazing things about both books and I'm excitied to pick them up :D
