There can be a fine line between science fiction and fantasy, so much so that they can occasionally be hard to distinguish from one another. So what makes the two genres different?

Books/TV Shows I Wish Were Also Graphic Novels
Top 10 Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
Today's topic was on favourite graphic novels or ones on my TBR, but since I haven't read so many (other than Paper Girls, Ms. Marvel and Nimona which I love) I thought I'd put a little spin on it.

My Top 5 Animated TV Shows
Top 10 Tuesday is Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
Following on from My Top Action/Drama TV Shows, I thought it was high time I spread some love for some truly incredible cartoons.
I hardly consider myself an animation expert, but I have been watching more cartoons of late. They're less stressful than pretty much all the other shows I watch, but also have a surprising amount of depth to them that makes them possible to appreciate by people of all ages.

The Problem with Killing Off Minority Characters in Fiction
Characters die in fiction all the time, especially in Fantasy, Crime and Sci-Fi. It's just the nature of the genre. But something that has recently come to my attention is that, for some reason, it seems like the person of colour always dies first.

The Problems of Interpreting Fiction Differently
Maggie Stiefvater shared this article on her twitter a while ago and it got me thinking about our freedom to interpret fiction.

My Top Favourite Action/Drama TV Shows
Next to books, I'm a bit of a TV fanatic. There are so many good shows out there, some of which don't get the attention they deserve, and some of my favourites are in the action and drama genres. Here are my top Action/Drama TV shows (starting with my absolute favourites).

7 Fictional Worlds I'd Love to Live In
Fantasy is an incredibly wide genre, but one consistency within it is that fantasy requires an immense amount of world building. You cannot have a good fantasy novel or television series without an epic backdrop. Some settings are so incredible that you can't help but want to be absorbed into them and live the lives of your favourite characters (just without the whole end of the world, fight to the death and all that jazz). These are my top 7 fictional worlds I'd love to live in:
