    Interesting. Right in the middle of all of these contemporary books is Catcher.

      Yes, it's been on my list for the longest time. I've been advised by many people to read it, so if I don't get it for Christmas I must borrow it from my library.

    I would really like to read The Catcher in the Rye. It is a favorite of my husband who doesn't normally care to read one bit, so that is something really. Nice list. I hope you have a merry Christmas.
