Quarterly Wrap-Up // July-September 2018

This has been a great summer for me, filled with spending time with friends, binge-watching Voltron (as per usual), family holidays, and going to lots of bookish events. But I'm excited to be getting back to my final year of university in October.

Reading Wrap Up
Links will take you to my review of that book 😊
I feel really satisfied with my reading in the last three months. My most notable favourites have to be The Conqueror's Saga, Sawkill Girls, What If It's Us, and A Very Large Expanse of Sea.

Post Wrap Up
You may have noticed I've switched from doing monthly wrap-ups to quarterly wrap-ups. The reason behind this is that I don't post as much as I did 2 years ago, so my post wrap up looked very sparse. With this switch, I'm hoping I can better reflect on my year by breaking it up into larger chunks 💕
  • Latest Love // Steven Universe - I talk about my love for one of the sweetest animated shows modern television has to offer, which is making huge strides for LGBT+ representation in children's entertainment.
  • Apps and Websites to Help You Live Your Best Bookish Lifestyle - Blogging has brought my attention to some incredible apps and websites that have seriously improved my reading game. I can't remember life without them.
  • YALC 2018 (and other bookish events) - I've attended a lot of bookish events so far this year, so I thought I'd talk about all the fun in one little wrap-up post.
  • Latest Love // The Bright Sessions - This summer I discovered my new favourite podcast/thing ever. TBS is about a psychologist who specialises in therapy for people with supernatural powers, and it has excellent characters, writing, and diversity.

What have you been reading lately? Have you found any new favourites? Have you read any of the books I read or are any of them on your TBR? Tell me your thoughts!

  1. I'm currently reading several books: HP 6, The Merciless, and The Phantom Tree. I really thank you for introducing me to The Bright Session, it's one of my favorite now! <3

  2. A lot of these books are on my TBR and this post has definitely acted as a reminder for me to move them further up and get to them with more urgency!
